The 2024 Bonn Climate Change Conference, also known as the 60th Sessions of the UN Climate Change Subsidiary Bodies (SB60) , will take place from 3-13 June 2024 at the World Conference Center Bonn, Germany.
Held under the aegis of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the conference will be an opportunity to try to resolve the current impasse in the Sharm el-Sheikh Joint Work on Implementation of Climate Action on Agriculture and Food Security (SSJW) negotiations and setting the stage for the upcoming COP29 in Baku (Azerbaigian).
A delegation composed by Ceris Jones, Facilitator of the WFO Working Group on Climate Change and Climate Change Advisor at WFO Member NFU UK, Jenny Brunton, Senior European Policy Advisor at NFU UK, Tobias Gräs, Member of the WFO Working Group on Climate Change and Senior Policy Advisor at the Danish Agriculture and Food Council and Francesco Brusaporco, the Officer in charge of Climate, Nature, And Biodiversity at the WFO International Secretariat, will join the Conference in Bonn to ensure farmers’ needs and expectations are put high on the Climate Action Agenda.
