From January 17 to 20, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) will host in Berlin (Germany) the annual Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA), an international conference on central issues of global agricultural and food policies.

The GFFA 2024 will address the issue “Food Systems for Our Future: Joining Forces for a Zero Hunger World!”, aiming at deepening and strengthening the agri-political dialogues on the sustainable future of food systems. Around 2000 policymakers, scientists, business leaders and members of civil society will seize the opportunity to discuss and connect.

For the eighth time this year, at the invitation of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), a delegation of young farmers – some of whom were selected among the WFO Member Organisations – will be engaged in the GFFA International Young Farmers’ Forum.
They will share the experiences gained on their farms or from their work in national farming organizations.
Two representatives of the YFF group will present a common statement on the GFFA topic at the GFFA Agriculture Ministers’ Conference on Saturday 20th January 2024.
