One scholarship available for WFO young farmers interested in advancing on food legal issues.
For the third year in a row, the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO) in collaboration with LUISS University in Rome, is pleased to announce one scholarship for young graduate farmers interested in attending the fifth edition of the Master of Law (LL.M.) in Food Law.
The fifth edition of the course will run from January 2021 to July 2021 and will take place in Rome at the LUISS School of Law on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. The students will also have the possibility to choose whether to follow online the lessons. For more information about the modality of attendance, click here.
English is the language of the course and all related activities.
Younger generations play a critical role for an effective and sustainable transformation of food systems, by contributing to food security, being stewards of the environment, integrating innovative techniques, being part of the trading system, ensuring sustainability.
WFO recognises and promotes the importance of education and professional growth and development of young farmers and, within the partnership with the LUISS University in Rome, provide them with new learning opportunities, such as offering one exemption from the payment of the tuition fee for the LL.M. in Food Law.
For the assignment of the scholarship, candidates need to satisfy the following criteria:
- To be graduate farmers.
- To be aged under 35.
- To come from developing countries.
Preference will be given to the Gymnasium Program participants.
To ensure gender-balanced representation, in case of the same evaluation level, if possible, the scholarship will be assigned to a woman.
Official professionals within WFO Members, who are interested in attending the course, can benefit from a 10% discount on the tuition fees.
The participants in the Master will also have the opportunity to get an internship in WFO Secretariat.
Candidates need to submit their applications no later than November 6th.
