On Monday 18th, WFO International Secretariat delegation, led by the Secretary General, Arianna Giuliodori, welcomed in its premises in Rome 24 young farmer students of Faculty of Agriculture Science, all coming from different parts of Germany. They are taking part in to the 2019 Top Kurs programme, managed by the WFO partner Andreas Hermes Akademie (AHA).
The meeting was aimed to expose the attendees to the reality of what WFO is, what it does and how it works, with a particular focus on what WFO is doing to support young farmers at the global level.
In conclusion, the young farmers had a lot of interesting questions, among which a very inspiring one: “Where will agriculture be in the future and what is the best route to get there?”.
The response of all the components of WFO delegation was unanimous: “Farmers have found their route, ‘The Farmers’ Route’, and stand ready to drive the agriculture towards a brighter future for all!”
