WFO partnering in a new project funded by EU Commission.
On July 13, the very first meeting of TRUSTyFOOD was held in Milan, with partners across Europe and beyond participating.
TRUSTyFOOD is a European innovation project funded this year by the European Commission with the aim of analysing and proposing new pathways for the application of blockchain technology in the food domain.
WFO is participating as a partner representing the global farmers’ community.
The meeting was the chance to kickstart the work to be done in the project period – 3 years – and start discussing methodologies and technologies to be taken into consideration.
Ambra Raggi, Engagement Manager at the WFO Secretariat, participated in the meeting, highlighting the need to involve farmers to get their experience on blockchain applications and their needs for improvement in that domain.
